It depends on what you mean by "the standard plugin." If you mean MusicIP plugin without Spicefly then MusicIP should generate a playlist that can be viewed in the various Squeezebox interfaces. I haven't used Spicefly Sugarcube in a while, but my vague recollection is that the behavior is similar
