Any chance of getting the full review shown again (as explained in
another thread)?
Unfortunately this will require quite a bit more work. They used to not
split it, now they do. Which means I'll have to add more requests in
order
to get the full review.
Goodness, that's a big jump in size. I'll look into that. Glad you got
your space back though!

Do you know if the hyperlinks in the AMG text, shown in the SBS web UI,
are also sent to iPeng and could be picked up there?
All html markup, including links, should be filtered out in
iPeng/Controller/etc.

I do hope you guys can work it out. Using Michael's plugin to find the
artist/album (excellent hit rate) and iPeng internal browsing to browse
further on the iPad sounds like something that could make my day, if the
iPad is ever released in my country.

Thanks for the replay.
So no chance
When you say 'add cover art to an album in iTunes' exactly how did you
do it?
Ignoring the artwork library feature andy mentioned for a moment,
without the feature turned on the artwork must be embedded inside the
music file. There's a description of how to do it here:
So no chance of invoking the web browser on the iPhone/iPad to follow
the links in the AMG text then.
I think I had discussed this possibility with pippin a looong time ago.
And I'm not sure why we didn't do it. Maybe he didn't want to include a
web control in iPeng, or parsing is too
I've been using 7.6 for day to day squeezeslave listening/testing since
July and have never seen that problem.
Just tried playing David's Picks - Radio Paradise and it's streaming

My life has changed with the Squeezes, music services and Ipeng because
I have been introduced to so many new classical music selections (some

I'd suggest including a newer version than 0.9-173. I'm currently

you have to include a weblink tag containing a URL in the item.
But this would be a list of items tagged with this parameter, not links in
eg. the Biography text itself, right?

I have moved squeezebox server to a new machine and moved my m3u playlists.
the scan shows they have been scanned (reports x of x) but they don't show

Thanks for the suggestions. I added the artwork for the albums in

album, using Get Info, and then pasting the album art in to the cover

I have both, and still haven't made my mind up. One thing, though - is
it just me - Squeezepad seems faster (to load lists and artwork etc)

could something be done to make it a bit snappier?

What do you guys use for the album or track artist tag when ripping
classical music CDs? Composer, Conductor? (if orchestral) Orchestra?
Soloist?
I see that in the Squeezebox advanced settings, you can add composer,
conductor and band/orchestra to the artists list, so you can find
music by those

I have no idea why the newer kernel is scratchy, I've never had a report
of that before. I seriously doubt it has anything to do with
squeezeslave. I'd look at what's different between the two kernel
configurations, and search for reports of problems with audio and the
new kernel version.
