I have configured my network to be able to listen to my music library
at home from my office through squeezePlay.
So, I have setup a remote library. But my home network has a dynamic IP
Adress. I have configured a DynDNS to keep track of the current IP...
In the SqueezePlay UI it seems
You migth try softsqueeze it can do that.

Google have enlightend me. QoS is used to priorities wireless trafic. I
am on cable and I experience buffering when change from one folder of
24bit/96KHz musik to another. There is no buffering when changing from
one file to another in the same folder. Is that a known bug?

And your qnap can not do that it has to weak cpu .

iPlayer programme, I suddenly heard single distorted tone, and lots of
pa_callback: SLIMAUDIO_BUFFER_STREAM_UNDERRUN appeared in the log.

It's not the power consumption so much as the way the system works. I
don't think there is a way to turn off the SB3 from the in-room
controls without totally powering it off through the switched
receptacle, which cuts the power totally. The system was designed with
CD players in mind, not SBs.

I installed vortexbox on a new Intel atom pc and have having a hard time
getting things working with MusicIP.
I do the music IP scan and everything works out fine (about 12k tracks
mostly analyzeable). I then do the SBS scan and it scans all the files
but then when I go to the SBS it says 0

I'm running SqueezeBoxServer on an Ubuntu 10.04 x64 box. I just did an
upgrade (to 7.5.2 - r31632, as well as other Ubuntu upgrade bits), and
now have very odd behavior. My Transporter can no longer play ogg and
flac files. It can play downloaded mp3 files, as well as Internet
radio (also

and there was to be no fixes outside warranty period. $1200 is a lot
for a limited life product.
