I think you have got the feature set pretty much taped; certainly for

So why doesn't , as Andy suggested he was working on before he was layed
off, Logitech
remove the dependency of the music services on mysqueezebox and
integrate these features in
a new version of LMS ? Then they could shutdown mysqueezebox and nobody
would care . In fact,

I have jivelite running on the hdmi port of wandboard in 1920x1080
resolution using JackOfAll's linux build. There are a few issues and it
needs a new skin, but its reasonably responsiv
We've got a Nyxboard here for our xbmc box. It works very well, but
there are issues with it losing connection after a reboot or suspend.
I also think it's a bit cumbersome for an audio remote - do you need a
full keyboard?
Furthermore - Do you need a remote at all? A headless box would be
easier

Aeons ago I used a Logitech Ultrax remote on an ubuntu htpc. Worked
fine, very cheap, radio-based, emulated a keyboard (partially if I
remember right). Had far too many buttons, as the SB 3 remote does.
IMHO, the Boom remote has about the right number of useful buttons. I

If you use the flirc then you can use any ir remote - it can be
programmed for any set of keyboard keys.

I have two servers running in my house, one running 7.7.2 and one

Does it matter if the squeezebox radio and squeezebox touch are running
7.7.2 or 7.8 firmware?

Have you tried to minimize/re-maximize just to see?
Perhaps changing to the new skin, closing the app, re-launching it

remote already ?
I'm going to use Harmony IR or an iPad/iPhone with one of the iOS apps
installed, so as long that's supported I am happy.

Yup, no TV hookup here either. I'm sure my Duet controllers and the
WebUI will work just fine.

The MySB dependencies they DO NEED TO GET RID OF are the ones that are a
b*tch to get past in the Duet factory reset setup process when MySB is
no longer available!

CEC can be dependant on the TV plugged into it and the HDMI

Netbook is 1024 x 600 - at 800x600 it fills the screen okay but the
display of text, etc in other programs is awful. Probably just a
netbook thing.
