I don't think you can do this directly. It can be done indirectly,
losing the lossless effect, by Nicecast (on a Mac, similar programs
on Windows, don't know about Linux) to make a broadcast stream from
the computer's sound, and getting the SB to
doing this?
I've no experience of that router, and some SB/router combinations
work well, others don't.
But I can confirm that WPA/TKIP on SB2 (you didn't say if you had an
SB2 or 3 or just an SB1) does work on my system.

It just occurs to me. On the Mac, as I mentioned previously, the
slimserversql.db is inside the Caches folder of the user library.
Some of the cleaning utilities can, I think, empty all this folder.
So take care, and make a copy of the file before doing deep cleaning.

your way of putting it may be a little confusing.
Wake on LAN probably does not work if the computer has a wireless card.
My own setup has my computer and my wireless gear (Airport Extreme)
connected by Ethernet to my router, and the SB on wireless. The SB
Wake on LAN works fine in this set
ort is not Extreme, I don't think it does WPA at all.

terminal under the slimserver login (playing a BBC stream) with
settings as you suggest.
That does suggest a permissions issue to me. But if changing the
group does not work, I am unsure what
player has user myshortname,
group admin.
I had to set the group to admin manually, as mplayer did not work
with the group being myshortname.
