. Nothing appeared on the screen. After fiddling around,
tapping, holding etc for a while I realised it was adding everything I
intended, just not showing on the playlist in iPeng.
Whether these are caused by my setup or iPeng, I don't know.

get time to use your Squeezebox? ;)
I don't imagine your usage is particularly common. And even if you do
watch things 5 or 6 times, you presumably still choose them rather than
clicking 'random'.

size. Perfect for sticking to the cooker hood or fridge, and something
which people really seem to comment on (more than the sound quality!)

Most of the time I just use the Squeezecentre web interface on my
laptop over any of real remotes/iPhone for just this reason.

I've read elsewhere that you can't upgrade only some of your existing
songs to DRM-free for $0.30 each; it forces you to do the whole library
or not at all. So check your receipt from ITMS carefully!

it) then unless it's the first track of an album, the artwork only shows
up in Coverflow. Bonkers! It works fine in Squeezecentre, oddly...

I've not had this problem, and I use random quite a lot. Odd. I've
only turned off a few genres in the Random screen (podcast, Classical,
Christmas) so it's selecting from most of my library. Is that the case
for those having problems?

it seems to ignore a large part of my library and, no matter what I
start from, seems to end up preferring 80s synth-pop and then going in
ever decreasing circles through the same few albums. I assume MiP is
rather better than that... ;)

I have longer filenames and paths, but that does look a likely cause.
Though I can't understand why it hasn't happened before.
iTunes is running, but the time of creation is exactly the time of the
Squeezecentre scan, so I'm pretty sure iTunes isn't doing it.

a weak signal. I ran a 30ft long patch
lead through a wall and under a carpet to the router and all's fine
again, though since I've had to move the router my signal's down around
75%. No dropouts, ever, any more.

iTunes decide where to put things, it does so randomly
which means you'd be stuffed. So make sure you copy your folders
across as they are.

unrelated stuff and went back; the Web Access
button was live. Not sure if it was simply stopping and starting SC
that enlivened it, but it's been working ever since.
