I don't think you will see any real performance gain on the music
storage side during normal operations. But an SSD for the OS and LMS
application and database provides a dramatic improvement, particularly
on Windows based systems.

It's worth paying for OrangeSqueeze as an Android controller. And if you
want to play songs from LMS on your phone, buy Squeezeplayer. The two of
them work well together.

have found any number of reasons not to. But when I decided to try LMS
Extractor it was immediately obvious that I would need something to

As long as Sonos has such ridiculous limitations on the number of tracks
in its database and the type and length of metatags, it will be continue
to be practically worthless for any serious music collector (basically
5,000+ album titles). A dealbreaker before even getting into any of the
