Definitely possible, particularly if you are only accessing MP3 quality tracks; bandwidth required for FLACs could be a problem depending on your home ISP's upload speed and whether you can get 4G on your mobile device. But not necessarily easy for non-IT folks: most people would need a dynamic DNS hostname service and either a VPN endpoint (recommended!) or port forwarding through their firewall. I set this up for some friends with FiOS (home upload speed is 40MBps) so they can access LMS from various remote locations using their Surface devices.
