What happens is it goes off and scans away for a long time. But it never clears the library in the first place, so I end up with everything duplicated. If I start the clear and rescan and then quickly look under Artists, then the entire library is still there. -- rbl

But powerlines also suffer from noise apparently. I think going to N at 5GHz makes sense since not many people use it (yet), and at least you dodge bluetooth, phones and microwaves. Of course the SB3 is still G, but at least part of the network would be better -- rbl

yes - have tried the Song Scanner plugin which works well. But of course you can't scan and listen at the same time so getting to where you want to be is a bit tricky. Also it is not as handy to use although I believe you can reconfigure the FF and FR keys to use it .. --

it from the web interface it just won't play. The first SB3 continues to work fine. I can also sync the new SB3 to the old SB£ which works fine. I updated SS to the official 6.5.2 but it made no difference. Running it on XP Pro.
