Is it possible to run both LMS and UE Music Library on the same linux
box? Are there likely to be any conflicts?

I have tried rsync over the network but the poor little pi struggles and

Just want to report some update. Thanks to libupnp, I now have a small
application that discovers automatically all uPNP media renderer on my
networks. It is a general uPNP control point, but focusing on Sonos, I'm
able to play, pause, stop Sonos devices.
1) I can send an URI that comes from LMS
was able to get and compile libupnp & pthread32 for Windows - sample
upnp application works and is able to communicate with other apps. Will
see next step if I can control a Sonos device

Back home for some tests - this is unfortuately unusable. Sonos streams
properly from http:///stream.mp3 but the delay for start or stop
is like 30 seconds. Propably just the fact that this is heavily buffered
and the Sonos client just get the stream from LMS "as it is", LMS is
just a http audio s
In fact, I was thinking that is I can get a multiple instance of
SqueezeLite, all feeding different streams connected to Sonos
controller, it might be an interesting solution. In other words
SqueezeLite:1 ==> Stream:1 ==> Sonos device:1
SqueezeLite:2 ==> Stream:2 ==> Sonos device:2

I had been meaning to install and get familiar with SQLite Expert but
have found any number of reasons not to. But when I decided to try LMS
Extractor it was immediately obvious that I would need something to
reveal the table structures if I wanted to do

I decided to put together a little program to extract data from the LMS
database and put it out in some useful formats. Specifically, it can
create HTML pages, Excel spreadsheets and comma-separated-value (CSV)
files suitable for loading into other spreadsheet or database-type
software.

problem. Stop the scan, move the tracks out of the library and try
scanning again. If it works then you'll have to more closely examine
those tracks. Maybe how they're tagged is the issue.

I added a few more tracks to my music database last night, so I selected
the option to resca my music database for new tracks.
However although it started scanning it only seems to get part way
through and then seems to stop. Restarted LMS and tried again. Same
thing happened. So this morning

Hi I'm running IE11, Win7.
When I web into the Logitech Media Server it all works except when I go
to:
Settings, and either the "player" or "advanced" tabs. Both of these
display 404 errors.
Any ideas?
I can web in fine from my android tablet so I suspect a setting in IE11,
but which one?

With LMS you don't need DLNA for playing music files on another computer
on your network. You can do that through network shares. Once LMS has
scanned the files on the other computer, they appear and function
exactly as if they were local files.
As for games, Netflix, etc, I have no idea.

Line Out to hifi/amp or powered speakers is stereo. It aint no Touch,

OK I uninstalled, deleted the cache folder (and all folders from
previous installs). I then re-installed and scanned my library from
scratch - it completed OK. Now a few days later I find that the server
has stopped itself again. I attach the log.
This version doesn't stay up for longer than a day
Go into the web interface, Settings > Information page. Near the bottom
of the page it shows the location of several folders. The cache folder
contains all of the server's data, including the databases, resized
cover art, etc. Looks like your library database is corrupt.

OK I just tried uninstalling, deleting all folders, then re-installing
from scratch. This time I got an unhandled win32 exception from the
scanner (4488). The last error message in the scanner log was:
"Invalid or corrupt image file(code -4)"
...but this error occurs many times in the log so I don
Tried deleting the whole cache folder ? Is this a clean install or
upgrade.
Do you run a lot of plugins ? disable all but thr logitech delivered
ones.
Here ends my knowledge I never used win2003 server.
