my issue.
Mine has been working all the way until I changed encryption on my
wireless router. Every now and then it looses connection and I actually
have to reinstall it to make it work.

I debated starting a new thread for this, but I'll stick with this one
and try not to add to the clutter.
Two things that are not ready for primetime: wireless networking and
the Controller. Maybe that's overstating things a bit, but I'm
frustrated. And let me also state that I love my duet. L

Yup, did that the night I last posted...so far so good. Once when it
was out of the cradle it made me wait 30 seconds or so before becoming
usable again, but that is far better than waiting and then still having
to do a power cycle. Will keep using it and will report back again
later. =)

The controller has been at three different revisions, a
7.2.1 is due within a week or so, 7.3 isn't but a few weeks behind.

static IP a high priority - I know there is a 3. party "plugin" but
it's not easy to do - you need perl runtime and other stuff. And I

and i have had occassional issues with the sbc as i've mentioned b4 i

Well, i didn't, but in my router i have the option to preserve static
IP-adresses to the devices (PC,Nas, and Duet SBR/SBC).
In general speaking, Static DHCP.
The Router is Dir-655 D-Link.

I've received a mail from Slimdevices
and they could reproduce the Blue icon issue
on the Duet Controller after some time (eq. standby or after a few
days).
They classified it as a major bug and we can only hope
that they could resolve this shortly in the FW,
could/should be solved in SC 7.2.1 !
i was having similar issues. I have taken the box the squuezecenter is
on, the SB, and the SBR off dhcp. My DHCP wsas set in the range
192.168.1.2 to 100. I have set up the 3 on 101,102,and 103.
everything has worked out well. it is definately worth a try.

Gentoo user here; I'm having the same problems as everyone else.
What I've noted is this: my controller almost never loses the
connection, it just can't find the SB receiver to interface with
(because it's using an incorrect IP). When the SBR does this, it gets
the typical blue light on the front

I have a similar situation to Stevan in that the controller will lose
connection to the SC server overnight whilst in the cradle and not
reconnect without restarting the controller.
The wireless power saving makes no difference.

for the record i have found the Duet so unusable that i have
decommissioned it in its original intended place of deployment. i have
set up a SB3 instead. the Duet will either get returned or will sit it
out in an area of very occasional use, waiting for firmware and
software to come up to par.

Guys, found a little bug in SqueezeCenter 7.0.1 - 18932. Nothing major,
and you may already be aware of it. I have two SC in my home network.
One is running an older version of SC. If i try to point an SB from one

Yes. I did that before posting, to be certain that I wasn't wasting
anyone's time. (Not to be too surly, but I imagine that's something

Just thought I'd mention that I'm using the BT Home hub in one of the
networks here and not had any problems with it serving DHCP addresses
wirelessly to an SB3, Controller and Receiver and wired to an SB3. It
also handles about 10 other devices as well with no issues including
the server.

Try doing a reset on the receiver (hold the button in until you see
rapid flashes). At the same time, do a factory reset on the remote.
Then after setting it up (again), when it says it has a 2287 update,
hit the back button.
Hopefully this will work for you.

if i push the "back" button, nothing happens. Its like a loop. I only
can push the OK button for the update, the controller reboots and a
only can choose the option "start the update". I restarted the
slimserver, I have updatet the slimserver to the newest version.
