@Torrie, OK, I will bring the ultrasonic cleaner with me tomorrow night. It does not work properly. None of the characteristic waves are seen when the unit is powered on. Might be a simple fix or it might be a waste of time. I suggest that the DIY/tech person who decides to fiddle with it set

Actually storing batteries in the freezer does slow down the discharge rate.  NiMH and NiCd batteries have a high discharge rate as oppose to Alkaline batteries.  Though the amount of energy you use to cool the battery VS how much you save is kind of pointless. On Monday, November 25, 2013 8:
