The temptation to solve the problem of the R7A has been very strong! I
removed the cover and carefully removed the DR7 card, sprayed all the
contacts on the connectors and de-oxidized the band change selector. After
installing the DR7 card again the problem has been solved !!! Thanks to

It could also be as simple as the molex pins on the digital readout board.
Pry the board out a bit and re-seat them. Look the pins over for any cracks
in the solder.

Have you tried reseating all of the boards. The R7's and TR7's suffer from
oxidation on the board connectors. Simply removing and replacing each board
typically fixes problems like you are experiencing. Do the same to each of the
cable connectors to each board as well as the power su
