Well, I can't seem to get my T-4XC to work so I hooked up the T-4X
temporarily. Now the question:
When tuning the xmtr, I get no power out; however, as I switch Tune to SSB,
I get about 1/2 seconds of RF output. Key jack is closed and there is no
mic/push to talk plugged in.

Thanks to several of you, I've found and removed the resistor from the AM
filter socket. Lining the filter up with the socket shows that it will fit in
two ways. Is there a correct orientation and will I do any damage if I get it
wrong?
