I STRONGLY feel that the shipping problems experienced by operators are pertinent to this reflector.  This isn't a "consumer's advocate" page, but one where these experiences could/should be shared.  I think that my loss may at least be someone else's gain, and maybe get another DXpeditioner

Perhaps, but difficulties in getting DXing radios fixed or shipped from one point to another are, IMHO, relevant to DXing. There is more to DXing than turning on the radio---especially if the radio does not turn on. Personally, I think info like that is more relevant to this List than someone as

Thousands of ham rigs are shipped via UPS and other carriers all the time... they all can't be ruined in shipping. I would like to know the failure rates for radios packed exactly the way they come from the factory. Personally, I have found that if I use all of the factory rigid foam packing
