This feature is not mentioned in the 6.04 release notes, but Paul added it
for me.
When using F8, you can now enter "*" (without the quotes) in the state
field to search for any QSO where the state field is filled in, or "!*" to
search for any QSO where the state field is empty.

Paul,
Thanks for this tip and fast response. It may help at times but at some
risk in losing a wanted QSO I suppose. A single click without needing to
deselect the warning would still be my preference though if it were at all
possible.

Jim,
Two small additions:
1. In the calendar window, clicking cleanup will delete duplicate entries.
(They may be created when importing schedules on a regular basis)
2. Calendar will pop-up when DX4WIN starts when you select:
File | Preferences | QSO | Check calendar at startup

Jim,
Yes, what you call option 3 (with only a single click) is what I want and
it would be a nice addition to a future version if its possible.

Here are the instructions for importing and using the GOLIST DX Calendar
with DX4WIN 6.04. Remember you must have an active GOLIST account to
download the calendar.
First, download the current calendar from:

After logging in, look for the link called:
David,
I have a Logitech laser mouse; it has more buttons than I know what to do with
and the special buttons can be programmed. The rolling button can be pressed
down and moved left and right for example.
Btw, the double click is assigned already; it switched to adding real-time and

A quick download, and v6.04 is up and running.
Checking it out now, looks pretty familiar. I wonder what changed (besides
the obvious).
I do wish that this program supported the Elecraft K2, especially this rig's
very useful serial-port
"streaming CW" function. There are now nearly 5,000 K2 rig
I stand corrected - right-click and select "Listen"
Obviously that's not a one-click solution.

I don't think so, Tom. You can right-click on a spot and either:
1. fill in log, go to spot
2. fill in log

There has been a lot of discussion about the use of MMTTY with DX4Win
After reading the discussions and thinking about it I've found an easy way to
do it.
My rig is a Yaesu Mark V with Rigblaster.
The discussions focused on two methods:
Either using a second computer and sending RS232 to the Pac

Thank you all for your sound advise on using Radio | Start Radio.
I didn't even know about that because it doesn't appear if the Radio is working

Not even greyed out - all I ever saw was "Stop Radio".
Works perfectly. Thanks to all.

Left-click on the spot, then right-click and select "Listen". It's 2 mouse
clicks (one left, one right), but better than 1 click then control-L. (For
what it's worth, I wouldn't mind seeing something like double-right click
to do this, or perhaps even using a click on the mouse wheel (if availab
By the way, I am not asking how to do this using the Listen Command (CTRL-L)
in the spot pop up window. That does tune the radio without adding the QSO
but it too is very inefficient because:
- first you need to click on the spot
- then you need to do a CTRL-L
That's 3 actions to get one resul
Is there any way to just click on a spot and have DX4WIN tune the radio to
the spot without also adding information into the QSO Window?
A double click on the spot both adds the spot to the QSO window and tunes
the radio. But if you choose not to work the spot (or can't hear it), you
