Hi John,
My guess is that DX4Win doesn't recognize that FT5GA is Glorioso. I had
to add a dummy QSO for FT5GA, otherwise DX4WIN thought it was France.

Do group names work in V8 while in DEMO mode? If so, what do I have to

I agree. Some of the other reflectors I subscribe to have split into

I'm not seeing this behavior. I only have CW, SSB & RTTY enabled and
yet the mode field in the QSO window still shows everything in

Two questions:
1. Is it possible to configure DX4WIN to automatically connect to a
cluster (VE7CC)?
2. Is there some way to have DX4WIN start when the computer boots and
NOT wait until I log in (like setting it up as a service)?
I'm using XP.

I have the same problem. You'll need to go into the Label Editor and
adjust the Vert pitch. Mine is set to 1.005 and it works out fine.

Doing the upgrade to 6.03. I did the INI merge but some items appear

Down at the bottom of the QSO window (you may have to hit F5 multiple times
to expand the window) are the award settings for that QSO. Set the mixed
DXCC to "Chkd" and the mode to "--". I think that should do what you want.

I don't think it's an ISP issue. Many of us have installed DX-Telnet to handle
telnet for DX4Win & Writelog. With DX-Telnet running there is NO disconnection
from the same telnet sites that routinely get disconnected using DX4Win alone.

As best as I can tell, once an IOTA qso has been submitted and checked, it

You are of course correct for ver 6.02. Seems I'm using 5.03 and the field
width is only 4 characters thus PSK3.
So looks like it is a non-issue for version 6.02.
