Hi It depends. If you have an older K2 before s/n 3000 then you may improve things with a new crystal set. There is also no advantage to having all 14 crystals matched. The 7 in the CW filter need to match and the 7 on the SSB board need to match but the CW and SSB do not need to match each oth

Can anyone think of a reason why I shouldn't be able to do the 2.5 kHz SSB Filter mod at the time I'm building the KSB2 board instead of building it as is and then going back and changing it? I know there's a possible issue with the BFO frequency range that may need to be tweaked. Thanks, -Ben
