Michael,
In the menu, you will find a parameter for compensating the frequency
settings for each transverter.
OTOH, if your problem is only the difference between the transmit and
receive frequencies, I would suspect that the same problem esists on the
lower level K2 as well.

Working the fox hunt tonite .. 20 is pretty quiet here at the beach,
and tuning around I hear weird birdies on specific frequencies. A
frequency will be clear, and make a 10 hz step and there's a bird

I've built and calibrated K2 #4958. If I use the spot function to tune to the
exact frequency of another transceiver, the end result is I'm actually off by
about 120 Hz or so. I've recalibrated a couple times, and my display seems
accurate (judging by WWV anyway). I'm using a 600 Hz sidetone
I like the 150 kHz range on 30m for having WWV and on 20m (and 15m to some
extent) for big DX contests. While the tuning may be somewhat sensitive, it
is not difficult to control with a gentle touch. If you tend to stick close
to the QRP frequencies (or the "core" areas of each band) and don't need
Hi Don,
Thanks for yoor previous comments re the low output power from my KPA100.
I have checked all low pass filter components and they are fine.

obeys by sounding off the frequency that was sent to it. Other progr

I have built 98 K2's to date. Let me build your radio. My prices are
reasonable and you receive a finished radio ready to play.

this is an important point, because I became a little bit sweaty after
