Hi Carl,
I experienced the same as you about two months ago. I took out the battery
from the rig completely and charged it with a smart charger. I eventually
got a full charge reading of 13.2v and the battery is still working now.

RF-wise an N-type and BNC-type connector are actually very similar. The
differences are basically in the outer shell for mechanical connection.
To see how similar they are try this:
Take a BNC-Female and slide it into an N-Male connector. Nice tight

Tom,
That is not normal.
First see if the problem is with your CW filter itself or it is in the
filter switching on the KSB2 board. Proceed as follows:
If you have a steady signal source of known frequency and amplitude, tune
that signal on the K2, noting the s-meter or audio level for both SSB

tried reverse CW and it's the same. Is there a problem or is this

Hi Ken,
Assuming you have the crystal filter adjustment where you want it in
Spectragram, they tend to not to be as brick wall as the DSP, but still are
very good for a single adjustable crystal filter. However, the crystal

Hi Stan
You do it just the way you would without the DSP unit.
First select the pitch you want to have at the center of the filter.
I use about 550 Hz here.
Then adjust the KDSP2 for the narrowest setting you want to use,
say 100 Hz, centered on the pitch you have selected. Now do

Hi Eric et al,

It might be a good idea to offer a variant of these kits with PL
