ground when active - your amp must provide the voltage - measure the
open circuit voltage at the amp's PTT IN.

poles 6.0 Khz,with that I am able to TX and RX on AM but not on FM,if you want
to be able to use either AM or FM RX/TX you will have to purchase the FM filter

the FM filter but the K3 is currently configured to prohibit

Correction ... +/- 26 KHz or a 2:1 shape factor. However
for comparison, Inrad's six pole front end filters for 40
meters are 15 KHz wide

What exactly does "not connected to anything" mean? I
I'm sure a lot of people would like the answer to that one, including me.
But I can't be of much help; my K3 doesn't do the double-beep beep...

That is a real mystery, the K3 has no internal battery, so if there is
no power connected, how can it make any sound? The only battery that is
in the K3 is the battery for the real time clock, but even that requires
power to the audio amplifiers for any output it might generate to reach
