A friend of mine reports that sometimes his KX3 (received las week) don't
start and he have to wait a few minutes before it gets on. The same problem
is reported in Yahoo,s KX3 group. Search for KX3 starts up with no rx this
morning on Yahoo.
My KX3 #190 never had this problem. I use

At 1 kHz performance is opposite sideband rejection limited. On CW consider

I thought that the RX SHFT menu item was what set the IF to 8kHz, not the
dual watch (the dual watch may or may not enable an 8kHz shift as well. In a
simple implementation of dual watch, the first demodulator would sit on centre
frequency, and the second would shift +/- 15kHz from

On the roofing filter/8 kHz shift, you have the cart before the horse.
The 8 kHz shift requires that the roofing filter be bypassed. There are
other cases where the roofing filter may be bypassed without the 8 kHz
shift. For instance Dual Watch being active.

go. There was also some feedback about crossover and using some windows

Yes, I love Rumlog and Rumped on the Mac. I once had MLDX but wasn't my cup
of tea. Rumlog works very well with a KX3. Use K2/K3 as the TRX. If you use
the tranceiver control panel some of the commands such as A/B, A=B do not
work on the KX3

can't get CW Decode to work. I have text decode set to CW 5-40 and THR set to
Auto. I am in CW mode and have the T showing under and to the right of CW. I am
using auto spot to get the signal zero beat. Getting nice

Firmware revision? The latest FW [4.51?] has a problem with CW Decode,
fixes are coming. Try the earlier FW if CW decode is important to you.
With FW 4.51 installed the CW decode has become problematic. I think
