Charles, You should find the amp has a driver connected to pin 2. To make sense of the signal directions, you have to know whether the device is configured as DCE or a DTE. Data Communications Equipment or Data Terminal Equipment. The 'transmit' and 'receive' signals are relative to the DTE.

The K3s manual p18 makes no indication that USB digitzed audio is not supported in SSB. Can anyone confirm that USB audio is actually NOT supported in SSB? On another note, I'm seeing a huge amount of 60hz hum being passed on the USB codec playback device, rendering it unusable for rig recording.
