I have the same setup. KX3 and Expert 1.3 IW2NOY is correct. Expert only has to listen on CAT. Remove TX line connection from Expert to TRX otherwise you will have collisions when Expert and computer both are polling TRX for frequency. I use Elecraft setting for CAT on Expert. 73, Igor UA9C
