While I worked several of the WRTC contest stations on different bands,
I did not work K1A, so it is obvious they won on strategy :) Don't waste

Amazing, indeed! Steve, N4RVE, even had a brief encounter with Elecraft!
Scroll down to the bottom of his webpage and search for "elecraft"

You are referring to Steve Roberts, this guy: <http://microship.com/>;
It's even more amazing than you describe!
On
te! Yes, I logged all 3,500 contacts the old fashioned way--
by hand! I am now struggling with the QSLing side of things.
Would I do it all over again? In a heartbeat--including taking the
P3 along.

then the right (up-to-date) answer is YES. This feature
was added back in FW 4.12 [current FW is 4.25 production release, and
FW 4.31 beta, I believe] Monitor and DVR playback audio levels are
independently adjustable. See Revision Notes for instructions on use.
Hope this helps,

Hello
I drop this on behalf of a friend of mine who’s not too good at English !
He has just installed a KDVR3 option on his K3. Recording is OK, but when
he records his friends and sends them back the recording, they say it’s not
good at all !
He
hat it has to do with the wrong RX filter being switched in
after transmitting a chained memory using FSK D mode. Could
you be experiencing something related? I don't know. Seems
unlikely, but . . . let's see.
I will be testing out the new potential fix shortly.

Hi Wayne:
As one of the first to report this issue, I would be happy
to try out rev. 4.15.

Hi List:
There is currently another RTTY contest on the go this weekend.
Has there been any progress on the reported FSK D 'bug' that
causes RX audio shift when 'chaining' memories on TX? [See,
a previous entry from me: K3 FSK D Mode: possible 'bug'?]
Rega

Hi Wayne:
I've just purchased a K144XV and will be installing it (probably on
Wednesday). If this is not too far out of your projected testing timeframe,
I would be happy to try the new firmware.

That is a good suggestion for a menu entry for setting the idle-time. But
in the meantime, IM will work.

If this can be reproduced, corroborated, and confirmed,
is there a prize for the one who finds the most 'ancient'
