This feature exists to some extent under the Command Tester/KX3 Macros in the
Elecraft KX3 Utility correct? I have several buttons programmed with macros to
change bands, Split UP, Down, etc.

you have the DVR option, you have a good tool to evaluate your audio
sampling rate is tied to the SPAN, and the SPAN setting is stored per
MODE. Verify that as you change digital modes, the span stays the same.
My guess is that the span set for USB is different than LSB and this becomes
the issue as FSK uses USB and PSK uses LSB.

My KPA500 (S/N 1073) gave me a "270V ERR" message last evening. I removed
the top cover (over-road the interlock switch) unplugged the white connecto
pin
ribbon cable and make sure it is connected correctly to the SVGA board. If
it all looks correct and you're still not able to get it to work, please

I had a computer failure. The old prolific KUSB would not work at all on new
computer, even after loading newer drivers. A new FTDI KUSB from Elecraft
solved the problems.

went dead. I got the radio back about a year and
a half ago
and want to dive in and see what might have happened. Can anyone give me a
place to start
or have an idea if I'm looking at just replacing a fuse or something more

Hmmm. Thanks for the comments. It may be that the amperage indicator on my
new main line surge protector is faulty. I will try again, this time using
a Kill-A-Watt power consumption meter on my various power strips and adding
up the readings of power drawn. More news as it happens...

Thank you, Dave. The Weather Underground display looks like just what I
want, but I would like my remote station weather to transmit over the
net without a computer hooked up--thus perhaps the Weatherbridge
device...I wonder if folks have used this successfully.

How do you handle the internet connection? If I got something like
this, I'd be wanting to locate it at a station remote from my home and
to monitor it over the net. It looks like the Davis stations require
another piece (a Weatherbridge?) to make the link to the net.
