The weekly Elecraft SSB net will meet tomorrow (5/8/11) at 1800Z
The new frequency (14.3035) was taken by an NEQP station in running mode. I
elected to start at 14.307 as the Ohana net finished about 1800Z. The
frequency was announced on the reflector and on 14.3035. Hopefully,
everybody found us. Conditions were so-so, but we had 25 participants over

We switched to a new frequency this week - 14.3035 MHz. It seemed to work
out, so we'll try it again next week at the same spot. The turn-out was
modest this week, 23 participants. The only discussions were audio checks
and a request for feedback on the KPA500 (nobody on frequency had one yet).
I got a handful of replies about the SSB net frequency. They ranged from
those that say they can't check in due to noise on 14.316 to those that
routinely check in and say don't change it. I'm willing to try a different
frequency. I have been monitoring the band around 14.305 (suggested as an

I expect the presence of the CQWW SSB contest this weekend to make having
the net tomorrow challenging if not imposible. I will tentatively cancel
tomorrow's net. However, I will check the area around 14.314 MHz at net
time (1800Z) tomorrow and give the net a try if QRM isn't too bad. We'll
Propagation seemed OK this week, but QRM from 14.316 was a problem. Marty

The weekly Elecraft SSB net will meet tomorrow (10/24/10) at 1800z on 14.314
MHz. I will be net control from western Oregon, and I will try to swing the
antenna in multiple directions to get as many of you as I can. We'll try
back east calling stations and relays too. See you then.

some. We had 27 participants over a 25 minute net, with no discussion
following check-ins. Thanks to everyone who checked in. Here is the list of

Propagation seemed OK this week, though the number of stations checking in
was down due to QRM (CA QSO Party). There were 18 of us over a 20 minute

I formulated this originally in Rich Text and was informed the file was too
large, so I converted it to plain text in outlook and Microsoft performed
the usual Microsoft Shuffle and totally messed it up, so here is the list

Propagation seemed good this week, though the number of stations checking in
was down a bit. The discussions were on the availability of the KPA500
