Essentially if you have an antenna that is resonant on 20 but you have
to tune it to make it work on 40 then you can have the ATU bypassed on
20 but enabled on 40. When you're on 40 it will automatically recall
the settings on a per band/antenna basis but it will also remember

right on them. Its the difference between running a 100Hz filter and
a 500Hz filter. As long as you're not being blown out of the water

From what I read in the K3 manual pin 6 is DIGOUT0 which the manual
states will be 0V when you select TRN or HF-TRN and are in low power
mode. At all other times that pin is Hi-Z. So no connecting to that

as you tune well out beyond the edge of a ham band. So maybe put it
into really coarse fast tune mode and head off the top end of the 80

Press FREQ ENT (red button high right from the knob). Then use the red
numbers to enter the freq (and you can abbreviate). You can put in 14.2

I remember it by thinking that the main board in the K3 is called the RF
board. So thus the main RX is the RX on the RF board.
