Hello KC,
The attached message leads you a web site that discusses the 20 versus 40

Hello,
To my knowledge there are no ISN's that meet all the requirements of
CISPR22:1997. CISPR/I/11/CDV has proposes different, less stringent, LCL
requirements that the suppliers (RS,Schaffner Fischer Custom
communications)stated to the committee they could meet. See IEEE2001 EMC

Hello all,
Very interesting questions.
While at the C63 meeting one of the attendees asked how we measure the
acoustic noise from speakers when testing radiated and conducted Immunity.
We do not test PC's with speakers so no requirement. Telephone Terminal
Equipment has a similar requirement.
Hello,
The vertical ground plane is referred to/required in CISPR22:1997 for
conducted emissions if the EUT is on a table 80 CM from the floor. If the
table is 40 CM from the ground plane it is not required. See figures 4
through 6 of CISPR22:1997. In ANSI it is optional. This requirement is the

Hello all,
If I remember correctly the one shot/second was to allow older simulators
time to recharge.
We believe that the probability of identifying an ESD susceptible product is
increased dramatically when subjecting the product to continuous discharges.
