Gentlemen,
I put two tar files in www.mpm1.com:8080/tar. These are
5axbcbridge.tar and 5axhydrotel.tar.
They contain the files to run simulated machines.
Someone with commit access is welcome to grab them, evaluate them,

I am trying to setup a new machine with EMC2 and Axis using home switches.
Everything seems to be working fine, except that z sets itself to 8.5202
after homing.
Even though I have:
HOME = 0.0
HOME_OFFSET = 0.00
Where is it pulling this 8.5202? I can find no reference to any number like

Do a 'g92 z0' after you home the machine. This will reset the position. Restart
to confirm.

Depends - you don't say which kind of offset it turns out it was. If
it was G54, you set it with touch off or G10 L2 P1 Z...

Those are the same motors as the Kitamura MyCenter 0 here.
Is that what you have? Do you have the Kitamura 1000 controls

The motors are AC servos with encoders. The encoders go to
the servo amp, which makes a copy of them to send on the

Well, it's off-topic, but I'll bite. :)
The difference is where the oxidizer comes from (carried with the fuel
or from an external air intake)

The way I understood it is that you can shut off a jet engine. You can't
shut off a rocket. Once lit they'll go until they run out of propellant.

Hi Drew
No - you can shut off liquid boosters, agreed not solid fueled ones. Much
simpler than that.
