I just installed Precise on a Gigabyte E350N WIN8 board.. $69 from
Amazon.
I followed the instructions that Seb posted, with the additions I
documented below.
As before, the grub menu has the RTAI kernel on the second page. Grub
customizer made quick work of that problem.

Not knowing the code at all, I am sure that the mechanism for including
files might exist already seeing the the HAL and VCP files are included.
There could be a special name for the included files and they can appear
at the top in a specific order maybe.

As requested I have uploaded a tar file of the config directory of my
Motoman robot. All the files are included except the stl files for the
Vismach model. They are apparently too big to upload. There are also a few

Hi Chris
The reason I would like to think I need it is because I test a lot of
different configs and code on the same machine (hardware ) for instance.
This means that I have to redo the INI file for every test. I normally
end up being frustrated (due to own stupidity) by not getting everything
80 volts is approximately what you get with half wave rectified 120 V AC.
Unfortunately with no filter it might make the brake into a buzzer.

I'm pretty sure the polarity doesn't matter. But, if the brakes
are designed for 80 V DC, 120 V will likely burn out the coils.
Power goes up as the SQUARE of voltage, so 120

Hello all,
I would be interested as well. I am currently working on a Fanuc 420.
Does Tool mode means I can drill? So a z movement would be along the
drill, regardless the angle of the drill.
Thanks!

I wondered why we could not have a number of INI files with an #INCLUDE
type of structure. I would very much like to segment my configuration
into usable sections like all the AXIS tuning parameters in one file for
instance. And t
have not 80v dc. could take 120vdc.
witch is plus, A or B ?

What files would i have to transfer to machinekit to get gaxis_no_plot
to work?
gaxis_no_plot_handler.py and gaxis_noplot.glade etc.
Or will i have to do a full install of ubc3?
Charles did give me the instructions to install your ubc3 and i did try

Fair question. Three answers:
1) It's neat to have the spindle speed on the Axis display :-)
2) I can't easily see the Mill's display when seated at my Linuxcnc box.
3) I'd like to use the

Well...

so i am planing to connect the brake direkt after the main transformer.
ca. 80VAC
is that ok?

there is also a 2 pin connector at the black part if the motor. right beside
the 4 pin power connector.

The 7i76 has encoder connections provided on TB3. If you only want
spindle speed and you are not bothered for rigid tapping etc, then you
