Ok, I got this all loaded , got some help from Peter and am able to drop these pins to ground and watch encoder raw count show pin activity. So , great everything works, very Happy. The bad I think I reverse biased this led and popped it. I have another encoder and motor to try to read counts

2.7.12 loaded, relevant fields filled out accurately, pncconfig operates normally for modifying configuration. It just works. Correcting all the files to 7i90 and mesaflash next . Dead tree volume of 7i90 manual in hand , a copy of lcnc docs in the works. Thank you guys. I hope to be reading

Ok, I'm presuming 2.7.12 is master. I reinstalled 2.7.11. I was able to get a configuration together, and get it to post desktop icons. Of course there is no relevant information in this file. When I went back to edit it with good motor control number I hit the same roadblock. Reinstalled again.
