Hello everyone,
I just noticed something when I mounted my 28-135 on the EOS 3. Every time I
put the lens on the camera there is a small mechanical sound from the lens,
like somthing is adjusting. If the camera is on or off doesn't matter. Has
anyone else noticed this? Maybe someone has an explan

Well, I use MS OE 5.5,
I have now done som further investigation. My conclusion is that the person
who made the html version seems to be fairly incompetent. I tried the "Click
here to download Rebate Coupon"-link below the table, and the .PDF seems to
contain somewhat more correct information.

Well, I'm not sure if I would find the EF 50/1,4 IS very useful. The lens is
short and fast enough for most situations.
Something that would be interesting would be the EF Extender 1,4X IS and 2X
IS. That would make the old non-stabilized long lenses very useful. But I
doubt Canon would create a
I did a quick('n'dirty) "lab test" on the topic, since I remembered the
cheap +2 close-up lens I have lying around after I posted the last message.
The magnification achieved at 135mm (with EF 28-135 IS) is about 0,35X, give
or take a few hundreds.
The close focusing distance is ~200mm (could be

Hello list,
I've thought about getting a booster for my EOS 3 since I bought it almost a year ago.
FPS is nothing I consider important, I seldom use anything other than the single frame
setting anyway, what I want is the better grip and the possibility to use another
power source than the expe
