I'm on a RH 7.3 box where I don't have root privileges. I want to build Evolution from source and put it in my $HOME/bin, $HOME/lib etc. Is this doable? Practical? I grabbed tarballs yesterday: evolution-1.2.1.tar.gz, gal-0.21.tar.gz, gtkhtml-1.1.7.tar.gz, soup-0.7.10.tar.gz. So
