I have a single Exchange 2010 server, it holds all rolls, and is running
currently with a self signed certification.
I have a wild card ssl cert *.domain.com, from Go Daddy, that I have been asked
to use for the Exchange server.
I understand that there is a thought that a

By default in Exchange 2010 Active Sync is enabled for all users.
I want this to be disabled for all new users and then enabled on request - I'd
like to achieve this without turning it off for existing users.
Can this be done?

Having dug further it seems needlessly complicated, I see that the accepted way
to do it for new mailboxes is with Scripting Agent Extentions.

The device will receive the new policy and then refuse to download any further
items until this has been set up.
I just hope that these are company devices and not the users own ones, as this
opens up another path of madness.

any way of knowing which pst caused the problem during the import?

Answer to my own question.
You can use the -name switch with $_.name parameter and it creates the job
called the unique pst file name!

We use Nirsoft’s NK2 editor for this, it takes a second to load and then delete
the old contacts off the machines in one swoop.
(ignore the name is NK2, it works with all version’s of Outlook).
