enterprise type reporting. Unless you have the Tivoli Framework installed
there is not a real good report system. I had to write a script that parses
the TSM logs on each server to give me an effective report on back up

We use it for all 100+ of our NT4, Win2000, and Unix servers, and for
Exchange, SQL, and Oracle. We also have their robotic tape unit and
once you get it setup, it works great. After wo
lots of servers, it may not be cost effective.

Recently we have been experiencing stability issues with one of our
Active/Active clusters once it was updated to SP2. The store appears to
hang and ultimately the server has to be powered down to resolve the
user mode hang.
Reviewing the times of the crashes it appears to happen frequently nea

Hi,
We use TSM/TDP here and it works pretty good now. The great advantage is
to
update to the new version of TDP for Exchange to get it to work. I was
disappointed with the response we got from Tivoli on the issue. Just make
sure to do some rigorous restore testing prior to implementing in
production.

They/we did look at Veritas, but it was too pricey. Tivoli is looking
