The tls_verify_certificates file contains your trust anchors. That

To get things clear, this is the process as it explores to me:

This spam bounces back to my mailserver (Exim 4.5.1).

Hi,
I've upgrade my local estalishment to use TWO instances of Exim.
(1) on a small router/firewall @ my LAN/WAN network edge, serving as
an SMTP Gateway
(2) on a fileserver on my LAN
The "edge" Exim is set to to do most/all of the 'light' processing.
Namely, ev

hi,
i've started to setup a dual-exim ("edge" + "core") setup
my primary goals are:
(1) use "edge" exim to filter/reject non-legit mail @ SMTP connect
(2) minimize traffic to & between edge/core exim
(3) minimize CPU/RAM util by "edge"

hi,
i've Exim 'talking' to remote clamd/spamd daemons over TCP,
av_scanner = clamd: 10.0.0.105 3310
spamd_address = 10.0.0.105 783
i'm trying to clean-up my eximconf using aux acls.
problem is, as config'd below, exim submits OK to CLAMD, but never

Iiuc, that dependence is defined by whether or
endpass.
Yup. You're right. Works nicely (well, so far ...)
I'm fairly certain I had a 'great' reason for choosing the
accept/endpass approach here. But, for the life o' me atm, I dunno
why :-}

hi,
i've been running Exim & Dovecot together on the same box, where
Exim's been sharing Dovecot/SASL auth info over a local unix socket.
works great.
i've now split Exim & Dovecot onto two different boxes.
iiuc, Dovecot ONLY provides a UNIX (local) socket; *not* a TCP so
