Just a thought... Possibly your /etc/isapnp.conf file is corrupt. You could rename your /etc/isapnp.conf file to /etc/isapnp.conf-backup. You could then reboot your PC (Linux shouldn't detect your PNP soundcard). You could then run sndconfig again. The sndconfig proggie will rebuild your /
