I use mane and tail groom, for horses, with my cats with ringworm.
I'm not sure about the ingredients or using it on immune compromised
cats. Yall are teaching me a lot about that. I think it is worth
checking out the mane and tail groom to make sure there is nothing in
it that will hurt

She is eight weeks old. I am awaiting her second test when she is

he's doing a good job of letting mommy feed him the a/d. He seems to be

Hi
folks,
I have only been
lurking on the list for the past year or so. Some of you may remember
me. I lost Cher, Midnight, Lisa and Suzy to the leukemia in a 6 month
period in 2004. Today, we came home to find their mother, Miss Kitty
dead. She had been having some kidney issues related
I just put my 11 month old kitten to sleep yesterday because he was

But, I had him vaccinated twice for this. How can
they contract this if they have been vaccinated AGAINST it? I do not

Hi Brenda! It's wonderful to hear from you despite the sad
circumstances... :(
I'm sure Miss Kitty is receiving a fine homecoming from her babies!
That is my only consolation when Sleepypants must leave us...that he
will be reunited with his mom and brothers and the family will be whole
again!
Dear Rebecca,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I think the vaccine is just 85 per cent
effective.
Your kitten was lucky to have someone to love him dearly in his short life.

Hey,As far as I know nothing else is going on. We've run bloodwork several times. He did have a bout with bartonella a while back. I really don't know what his blood pressure is. I just know when he started losing his sight they ran all kinds of bloodwork on him and said the only thing wrong
I'm really sorry for theawful
experiences you've had, but God bless you for being such a caring
person!

I'm really sorry you had to go through this. It was
probably the red, and he meant 7% packed cell volume (PCV). Just
wondering, did the vet suggest any type of treatment or just euthanasia?
Yes, the vaccination is not 100% effective all the time.

Just wanted to share the ideas.
My step-brother, Johnathan Rand, began writing children's stories back in
'99. He started out by going around northern MI to gas stations, gift
shops, restaurants and hotels and leaving his books without asking for $ up
front. He would give them $1 for each
Hugs to you, Brenda.

Gosh Kerry! How is your father on top of everything else? I think of you often. As far as the cat spraying, I would recommend she start over and crate the cat for a while so the 2 can get used to each other more gradually. Then let it have a small room like a bathroom, etc. If it sprays it
Rebecca,
So sorry to hear this. The vaccine isn't 100% effective.was your
kitten tested prior to being vaccinated? Did your vet use a killed virus
vaccine?
Don't second guess yourself, and don't beat yourself up. You did what
you thought was best for your kitten, and he had a good 11
The thing is.. at our shelter they test cats/kittens on intake. Then those cats and kittens are exposed to other cats and kittens. There aren't enough cages to truly keep the cats separated. We also have an 'open' cat room with no cages. The cats are NEVER retested after 90 days. If they
GLOW to you and yours to ease your hearts and light Miss Kitty's path. I'm so proud of you for taking on what you knew would be heartwrenching in the end. But I remain convinced (and it sounds like you do too) that the time we can give them is priceless and the love they give in return without
