It sounds like she is very jaundiced? (yellow) Is she being treated?

somewhat long road to stabilize I believe, though have heard or one or two

A candle will burn in Richmond, VA for Tiger. Tiger didn't blame you, you
cant blame yourself. They are so good at hiding their sickness. It is hard
to notice when they don't have physical symptoms. He knows he was loved!

FELV+ rescues in the past but wanted to wait till her restet, she is not
with any other cats so we will retest & spay her soon.
Thank you all for the input!!!

This sweet little orange baby was found starving in a ditch at a few weeks
old. We got him as well as we could but he never managed to be symptom
free. We gave him lots of love and hopefully made his short life better.
He succumbed to his illness today at only five months old. It's amazing

One of our large local cat rescue groups also said they have had a ton of
"bad tests"/false positives lately.
If this is characteristic of these tests, something needs to be done--many
lives will be lost, most do not retest whether due to lack of resources, or
simply lack of knowledge.
