in diet to dissolve them (which certainly seems like a slow process).
They've given him fluids and steriod shots...and finally something for

Oh Elizabeth, that poor big sugar boy! I'm hoping the steroid
shot will ease the inflammation long enough to allow his poor bum to heal!
How about some soothing ointments or salves? I did som
with impactions. The things that can go wrong were pretty
scary. If that's the way you decide to go, I'd look for someone that
has experience with this particular surgery. I'm sure your regular vet
won't be offended. Anyone that gets that sort of reaction from Antonio

Poor little big Antonio.
Took him back today for his checkup - he looks like he's been hit in the
butt by a missile. Those glands are just so inflamed and his backside
looks awful. So red and irritated...draining -- we never missed a single
dose of antibiotics but he looks so much
putting it off
next time.
Let us know how the new food works for Antonio. I have a couple of
couch potato boys that should go on a diet too! You're lucky, (in a
way), that Antonio lets you help him stay clean. My Kimba Cat gets
really pissy when I try to help him out with his imperfect hygi
