The document was most probably not correctly updated before you used
the optimize feature. If
1. Move to page 1 and update the layout from there
2. Lock the systems
3. Optimize
I had locked the systems, but I most likely did not update the layout before
I optimized. I will remember that. Thanks.

I am attempting to open a score and I keep getting this message.
While attempting to access NO CHASER parts file manager reported an
error.
Finale - error occurred. ID=-8. The old parts open but not the score.

They lock your systems, and keep the measures from flowing from one
system to the next, should you make changes in your score. In Mass Mover,
if you have a measure selected, you can unlock the system for the staff
(staves) that you have measures selected. Select MassEdit | Unlock Systems.
