[Finale] 2003 tab questions

Finally, lute tablature has arrived with Finale 2003, I am glad with what I've seen and used so far (two lute songs), but I am stuck with many questions. Anyone out there with more experience or just good ideas? Here's some immediate things that bug me: 1. Rythm staff above tab numbers or letter

The ISO standard for representing the octave starting at middle C as octave 4 may not be universal, but it is by far the most commonly used numbering scheme. If you look at the classic music representation book "Beyond MIDI", for instance, I don't think any other numbering scheme is even mentioned
