Hi,
OK I know now that Jari's fine but he isn't reading email for a while (I

What you suggest is the only way I know of to accomplish the un-aligned
bar-lines. Finale will not do it automatically.

Okay, but all the other options (Expressions, Articulations, and Custom Line defs)

I'm working now on Finale 2002... I'll try this when 2003 will be installed.

The plugin does indeed allow that. (You must be using Finale 2003 to
transfer smart shape options.) Open the document that has the settings
you want and hit "Copy" on each of the items you want. Then open the
target document and hit "Paste" on each item.
I think there are number of francophones

Is anyone aware of a plug-in which would allow minute adjustments to stem
lengths (via the Stem Length Special Tool) for a whole document, according
to the note value? For example, 32nd flagged notes are basically always too
long, and when placed next to a flagged eighth, the heights are totally

Hi all,
I've tried Setting Scrapbook plug-in to import Expressions tool,
Articulations tool, Custom lines tool, Smart shape options, in another file.
1-I'm not sure if this plug-in allow to do that?
2-I don't really understand the using off this plug-in? (I don't speak
English very well...
Your suggestion is the way I handle such situations. The time signature
tool can't handle what you want.
There are other suggestions about setting the vertical offset of the
numbers so that the top number appears centered and the bottom number
would print off the bottom of the page. This woul
I believe you have to create the staff style directly -- you CAN create
the staff style by recreating the adjustments you chose, but you would
then have to apply the staff style to all the staves and all the
measures in your new score.
Wouldn't you do better to create a blank score with the sam

If you are using single digit time signatures for the whole document,
you can do this:
In "Document Options - Time Signatures", enter a large enough value
for the vertical adjustment of the bottom symbol to kick it right off
the page. Change the vertical adjustment of the top symbol as
