In pondering the question of online sales of scores in which I might have an
interest, I began to examine some of the underlying assumptions that inform the
process of selling music.
Traditionally, a publisher produced a sufficient quantity of each title of music,
and charged a price sufficient

The final word -- from a MacFixit reader:
I got my 17" iMac today, and the Startup Disk control panel does not
see the OS 9 system folder. It's Classic only - just fine with me.

Bonnie,
Your first consideration should be whether you need OS 9. All Macs
introduced this year, including the 12" and 17" Powerbooks, the new G4
towers, and (probably) the new iMacs are OS X only. The only way they
can run OS 9 apps is from inside the Classic environment. If you need

Bonnie,
I don't believe the iMAC comes with any PCI slots, therefore, you will need
the G4 tower. Digidesign has just announced their 6.0 versiion for OS X.
They say that there will be a speed increase with the dual processors. GET

To any of you Mac/Finale/Digidesign users:
I know there are a few Mac gurus out there! My old 8600 Power Mac
finally died a grisly hard drive death and I need to replace it. I would
very much appreciate knowledgeable recommendations in the under 2 grand
price range.

Yes... but only somewhat simple. I am currently exploring exactly
this possibility.

I am not sure if you ever got a reply, but I just found something that

This might actually accomplish what you want to do. Maybe not, I

There is a graphic difference between the

and these expressions inputted in the score.
It's terrific when I apply these expressions in a
