Drawing a blank: what is the term that is used when canceling e.g.

I thought the opposite of loco (crazy) was normal. Unless crazy IS the norm! 8-)

'Arco normale' or sometimes 'normale' is what I generally opt for. Just
'arco' is just asking for (hopefully temporary) confusion, of the "Oh,
were we supposed to be playing pizz.?" variety.

To JABB users:
There's an update available on the Garritan site.
Good to see in the documentation that there will be a future update
with key-switched reeds, so that we'll be able to play back saxes,
clarinets, and flutes on the same staff lines easily.

Thanks Chuck,
My tenor sax click problem is g, g, gone with this update, but I found
it's odd that t-bone and hi-hat balance has not been modified to audible
difference as ReadMe note
Hi Hiro,
Seems to me that some balances have been improved, but I'm not sure
it's possible to get the defaults to be correct for every situation.
I don't use the drum sounds, so I haven't experienced the hi-hat
issue. Is it too soft, or too loud, in the default mix?

I'm having trouble (finmac '05) getting general midi playback from any of
the "channel 10 - patch 2" perc maps. I'm looking for a marching snare and
bass drum to use in an orchestral piece. I'm not terribly particular about
how they sound, but would like to upgrade from the trap set sounds I'm

As a player I would have no idea what that means. You're
already playing "on the cordes" even when you're up next to
the bridge. "On the bridge" (

Go into time signature and change the time signature to the one that shows
6/4 as two dotted minims then retranscribe (if it's only a small part of
the piece, select it with the mass mover first, it saves time)

I wanted to thank all the Finale listers who have
supported us over the past 6 years of online sales
and to point everyone to our New Year sale.
We have some special offers which include the CD
version of the Handbook of Instrumentation by this
list's own Andrew Stiller and also our Ted Ross CD.

Sorry, in my reply to this I think I may have misunderstood American

I figured things out ... to a degree.
Is there no way to set up different instruments, each with a patch of its
own, both using channel 10?
It would be nice, for example, to use the rolled snare from the marching
band percussion map (patch 2) and the bass drum from the orchestral
percussion map (

Well, if
On Garritan's site, the newly released update is told to be compatible with
2003 and 2005 releases of Finale.
Could some kind people explain exactly how to use the JB library with F2k5
(if really possible)?
