To delete the bars at the end, just click on Mass Mover tool,
highlight the bars, and hit delete. To insert 2 bars between 15 nd
16, hit the measure tool, highlight bar 15, go to the measure drop
down menu to insert, choose 2, and click it.

Hi Chuck- it sounds to me like his service provider hasn't set an association
for the .pdf extension on their servers. Your friend should contact the ISP and
ask them to do so. When an attachment's extension type isn't on a server's
association list it will just assign whatever the provider sets
