It's still doing it, even if I haven't switched from another program in a

Confused. Hoops? There are just two things you need to do to have QuicKeys

John,
I know QuicKeys is no longer supported, but my shortcuts are still working in

I was having problems with frequent crashes (Finale 2014a - Mavericks

shortcuts, which I was using to replace QuicKeys shortcuts after
QuicKeys stopped working with OSX Lion. Crashes became much less

That makes sense. Thanks.

It's a focus issue. After switching back to Finale from another application,
you need to manually click on the menubar once before any of the keyboard
shortcuts work. Text insert shortcuts also often require an additional click on
the menubar before they begin working again.

Never mind - "check for updates" shows I have the newest version.

I think a number of things are not working correctly in 2014, and I am pretty

At least regarding sharps and flats this matter has been improved in FM2014a.

Mac OS.
Keyboard shortcuts don't seem to be working reliably in 2014. When I'm in
the staff group name window, I get the "doink" alert sound when I type a
keyboard shortcut for text inserts. Using the mouse and menus works, but
it's very inconvenient.
Same thing happens when I want to resize using

Actually, there are Mac keyboard shortcuts. They're listed in the

Hi Stig,
Not in this case, no. The Finder shortcut for "Get Info" is command

the menu item, right hand side.

them must include the "command" key (alo
