I am now installing r-base, the R package for statistics. When I run R
after the installation some libraries are missing:
dyld: /sw/lib/R/bin/R.bin can't open library: /sw/lib/libdl.0.dylib (No
such file or directory, errno = 2)
Trace/BPT trap
When I installed it manually on os 10.
nada.

darwin
a bunch of java stuff
perl
let me guess, need to install xfree86?
Are there versions in sdk? I know I installed it once but something may have gone awry.
Or do I install via fink?

Try running "Binary->Upgrade Descriptions"--lynx looks to be available
as a binary according to the package database.
Binaries on Fink are made in a one-shot process--all of the packages
that are deemed ready to be released as binaries get done in one step.

If you do get "system-xfree86", but not "system-xfree86-dev" and

I finally got gaim up and running, but there's a little problem. Some
of the icons are missing. There's really no rhyme or reason to which
ones are missing, as far as I can see. There are some missing from the
login, buddy list, and IM windows. Does anybody happen to know why
this is?
