I used the XDarwin binary from www.xdarwin.org originally to install
xfree86. I used the update to provide compatibility with Jag (I now
have OS 10.2.3)
However, something seemed to have broken with fink - when I tried to
use apt-get to install anything it would say something about unmet

browser plug-in. (for windows media streams..)

You'll get an occasional warning about "weak libraries not built with
OSX_DEPLOYMENT set to 10.1" (or something like that). You can ignore
these warnings -- eventually there will be a FAQ about this.
